PRESCOTT, Ariz.- The Red Hawks traveled to Arizona this weekend where they took on the Eagles from Embry-Riddle University. The teams squared of in a four games over the weekend with the double headers on Friday and Saturday. Over the series Red Hawks would get solid performances from both of their starting pitchers with Paris Hallums winning game one on Friday allowing just 2 runs on 4 hits in a complete 5 inning game and she would pitch even better game two on Saturday not allowing the Eagles to score allowing 7 hits over 7 innings striking out 12.

The other Red Hawk starter Carlye Avey would be just as impressive allowing just one run in game two on Friday on 5 hits striking out 8 batters in 7 innings and she would follow that performance up with another complete game in game one Saturday allowing just 2 earned runs on 8 hits.

Offensively the Red Hawks would continue to be impressive scoring 33 runs in the series. Bailey Akins would lead the way with 7 hits in the series and 5 RBI's with Courtney Thomas adding 5 hits and 7 RBI's and Jessica Dager adding 5 hits and 4 RBI's.
