College: Wall is entering her fourth season playing softball for the Red Hawks. She set the school's single-season home run record in 2014 and received Cal Pac all-conference honors her freshman and sophomore years. She was named to the Dean's List in the fall of 2015.

High School: Wall played three years of varsity softball at West Campus High School. She earned all-league (2010-2012), all-city (2010-2012), all-metro honorable mention (2012), and varsity MVP (2010-2012) honors. She was second in home runs in San Joaquin section in 2012. She was also on the honor roll. She played club softball for the California Breeze and Mizuno All-Americans.

Personal: Kara is the daughter of Richard and Cyndi Wall. Her hobbies include painting, singing, reading, and playing guitar. Her career goal is to be a high school biology teacher.

Reason for coming to Simpson: "I chose Simpson because of the friendly atmosphere and sense of community on campus."
