With the two wins on Sunday, the Red Hawks extended their win streak to 10 games and accomplished something done only once before in school history, reached 40 wins in a season. Senior Paris Hallums took the mound in game one and continued her winning ways. She threw a complete game allowing 3 runs on 9 hits, striking out 6. Game one was all tied up heading into the bottom of the 7th but Simpson's hot hitters came through once again. Madison Wright led off the inning with a double and two batters later Mia Olvera hit a walk off homer and the Red Hawks won 6-4. Hailee Nichols took the mound in game 2 and threw a gem allowing just one run.  Down 1-0 in the 4th, the Red Hawks scored in three consecutive innings including a solo shot off the bat of Bailey Akins to secure the win.
