College: Hallums is entering her third season playing softball for the Red Hawks. Her athletic honors include being named Cal Pac Pitcher of The Year and being named to the Cal Pac all-conference team in 2014 and 2015. She was named Most Outstanding Player at the 2015 NCCAA National Championship and received NCCAA All-American honors.

High School: Hallums played two years of varsity softball at Ponderosa High School, where she also played basketball. She earned first team all-league and all-city honors. She received the Heart of the Team Award. She played club softball for Foothill Gold.

Personal: Paris is the daughter of Jody and Scott Hallums. Her hobbies include shopping, movies, crafts, and spending time with friends and family. She hopes to one day own her own business.

Reason for coming to Simpson: "I chose Simpson because God opened up an opportunity for me to both receive an education and play softball for a really great school."
