Biography

College: Silveira is entering her third season playing for the Red Hawks.

High School: Silveira played three years of varsity softball at Ponderosa High School, where she also played basketball and competed in track. She received the Bruin Award, the Golden Glove Award, and all-league honors. Her team won the Division I league championship her junior year. She played club softball for Foothill Gold.

Personal: Missy is the daughter of Angelica and Chris Silveira. Her hobbies include outdoor activities, listening to music, shopping, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Reason for coming to Simpson: "I choose to attend Simpson University to receive a college education, to play softball for the winning program, and for the Christian atmosphere."
