LANCASTER, Calif. - Simpson University softball began spring break with a visit to the University of Antelope Valley where the Red Hawks came away with a four game sweep of the Pioneers.

Simpson have now won nine straight games including a perfect 8-0 on the road.

Game 1:
Simpson's bats continue to stay hot as they tallied 12 hits to bring around nine runs. Amy Rodriguez outdueled Ashley Adkins to pick up the win. The Red Hawks however, did uncharacteristically struggle defensively as they finished with four errors.

Game 2:
In game 2, the Red Hawks looked to complete the four game series sweep of the Pioneers.  Courtney Dunn picked up her 4th win of the season in game 2. Simpson exploded for six runs in the 5th inning to push the game out of reach.
