REDDING, Calif. - The Cascade Collegiate Conference announced today that they are adding Simpson University Softball's program as an associate member for the 2026 season.
The Red Hawks have been competing in the California Pacific Conference since 2009 under longtime Head Coach
Wayne Stower.
Simpson just wrapped up its 17th year in the Cal Pac as they competed in the Continental Conference tournament in Lawrenceville, GA after capturing its ninth Cal Pac title.
Simpson currently has two programs competing in the Cascade Conference, men's and women's wrestling and beach volleyball.

Rob Harley is excited to be joining one of the premier softball Conferences in the nation, "We are grateful for the opportunity and honored to have our softball program compete in the premier NAIA softball conference in the nation. We really appreciate the support by you, the AD's and the Presidents of the Cascade Conference. We can't wait to get started!"

The Red Hawks look to compete against familiar foes as they played 13 games against Cascade foes this past year; Oregon Tech, Southern Oregon, Corban, and Warner Pacific.
Simpson competed in the Cal Pac this season with La Sierra and Westcliff as they qualified for the Continental Conference tournament earlier this May.
