REDDING, Calif. - Six Simpson Softball Players were recognized by the conference Wednesday for their performances on the field this season.

Sophomore Amy LeGrande was name to the All Conference Team as an outfielder. For the season, LeGrande had a .941 fielding percentage, with 35 chances and 30 putouts. On offense, she had 20 RBIs, with 40 hits and 10 stolen. 

Senior Sunshine Wehunt earned All Conference At-Large. In 116.2 innings pitched this season, Wehunt recorded 84 strikeouts and had a season ERA of 5.09. Her season highs include seven innings pitched against Westcliff on April 15th, nine strikeouts on February 6th against Southern Oregon, zero walks allowed against Antelope Valley on May 1st and only one hit allowed on April 3rd against Park Gilbert.

Three seniors earned Honorable Mention. Brooke Blades recorded 24 RBIs, 28 hits and had a batting average of .311. On defense, Blades had 140 putouts and a .967 fielding percentage. Madison Greco 32 hits and 14 RBIs. She also had 35 putouts and onlt three errors on the season. Ashley Miller recorded 41 hits and 25 RBIs. Defensively, she had 66 putouts and only five errors.

Junior Aubrey Zamora was named to the All-Defensive Team as a leftfielder. In 50 chances, she had 48 putouts and only two errors, leading to a fielding percentage of .960. Offensively, Zamora had 126 at-bats with 41 hits and 28 RBIs, adding up to a batting average of .325.

With the statistics and performances, these six athletes helped lead their team to the Cal Pac Conference.
