REDDING, Calif. -  Head Coach Wayne Stower stacks his roster for next season as he signs seven on Saturday the 22nd.

The signees include two Redding natives, and five players from other parts of California:
Jayden Bayani and Kassandra Soria, both from Stockton, Ca, Jessica Heck from Brentwood, Ca, Nicolena Holen from Chico, Ca, Madeline Moorhead from Vacaville,Ca, and Kira Montgomery and Baylee Zahniser from Redding, Ca.

Madeline Moorhead who has gotten to watch her older sister play for Coach Wayne can't wait to play for him as well.

Moorehead  said, "I've known Wayne for awhile and I think I have a good bond with him. I can't wait to continue to get to know him better."

Local, Kira Montgomerey, is thrilled to stay in Redding and continue playing softball. "It means I get to represent my town and get to represent this community. It also means my friends and family get to come watch me play," said Montgomery.

When asked what it is about Simpson that makes her want to play here, Baylee Zahniser said, "Being able to be a part of a religious community and play sports is a really cool thing." Zahniser continued, "....I'm really excited to be a part of the environment here too."

Coach Stower is hopeful that this incoming group of freshman will be a very impactful class and cannot wait to see what they bring to the team both defensively and offensively.
