Box Score 4 MESA, Ariz. - Simpson University softball continued its dominance over the Cal Pac Conference this weekend winning three of four games against Benedictine-Mesa.
After falling in game one 3-2, the Red Hawks recovered winning the final three of the series. Simpson's pitching was the main factor in the series limiting Benedictine to eight runs in the series.
Kylee Potes recorded 11 strikeouts in a seven inning complete game victory only allowing one run. In game four,
Sunshine Wehunt also recorded the five-inning complete game allowing four hits and striking out five.
The Red Hawks are in the drivers seat in the quest for the first seed heading into the Cal Pac tournament next weekend and are now 11-1 in conference play.
