REDDING, Calif. – The Simpson women's basketball team is looking to finally tip off their 2020-21 campaign. On Tuesday, January 12, the Red Hawks will match up against rival William Jessup University in the James M. Grant Center.
Due to COVID-19 protocol, the Red Hawks postponed their month of December contests.
A Look at the Red Hawks
The Red Hawks return three key players from last season, sophomore guard, Brianna Clark, junior guard Ellie Hamel and senior forward Ryane Bradbury. Clark led the Red Hawks in assists with 2.7 and was their second leading scorer averaging 7.3 PPG. Hamel shot a team high 37% from the 3PT line last season, while Bradbury shot 45% from the field.

The Warriors are led by Paige Winter, who through eight games, leads the team in scoring with 9.6 PPG. NAIA All-American Miranda Zaragoza leads the team with 8.5 rebounds and is the second leading scorer with 9.5 PPG.
