Sunshine Wehunt threw her first career no-hitter, and Simpson softball recorded its third and fourth-straight shutouts with a pair of 8-0 wins on Wednesday over Northwest Christian at the Simpson Softball Field, 

Game 1 - Simpson 8, Northwest Christian 0 (5 inn)
Sunshine Wehunt held the Beacons hitless while striking out 4 and walking a pair. Alexis Burt was 3-3 with 3 RBI and a triple to lead the offense, which scored twice in the fourth and six more times in the fifth to walkoff with the victory. Emily Fuller also drove in 3 runs, and Aubree Akins drove in 2, including her first home run.

Game 2 - Simpson 8, Northwest Christian 0 (6 inn)
Sydney Moorhead pushed the SU pitching scoreless streak to 28.1 innings in tossing a 4-hit shutout. Alison Harvey and Emily Fuller were both 2-3 with 2 RBI to lead the offense. McKenzie Martinez drove in the winning run in the 6th with a sacrifice fly.
