Box Score RIVERSIDE, Calif. -- Simpson opened its final road trip of the season with a 64-58 victory at LaSierra on Thursday night, led by seniors Precious Jackson and Lexi Thompson with 15 and 13 points, respectively. The Red Hawks avenged an earlier home loss to the Golden Eagles and notched their fourth win in their last five road games.

The Red Hawks dominated the second quarter with a 17-9 advantage, which proved to be the difference in the game. No other quarter was decided by more than two points for either team.

Jackson finished the game with a double-double adding 10 rebounds to go along with her team high 15 points. She has recorded a double-double in three straight games and four overall on the season. Natalie Campos was also in double figures for Simpson with 11 points. Another senior, Alex Cooper, added 9 points and 7 rebounds as the Red Hawks outrebounded LSU 45-39.

Simpson closes out its regular season Saturday at Antelope Valley.
