FULLERTON, Calif. - Simpson University men's volleyball records impressive non-conference victory over Hope International over the weekend in a five-set thriller. The win is the first win in program history over Hope International and shows the team's improvement in just one week after falling to Hope last weekend.

Jordan Mills had a monster performance in the Red Hawk attack, tallying 16 kills, while Christian Murry recorded 15, and Jean-Jacques James recorded 10.

Defensively, SU had an impressive night as well, recording 11 blocks, and 51 digs. Steven Brasher, who ranks 4th in the nation in digs, led the Red Hawks with 19.

Simpson will begin Cal Pac Conference play next on Friday, February 18th as they head to San Marcos, CA to face Saint Katherine University. First serve is set for 7 PM.
