Box Score MERCED, Calif. - Simpson University men's volleyball was swept on Monday by UC Merced, 25-18, 25-23, 25-18.

UC Merced entered the match on Monday undefeated (3-0) and Simpson went right at the Bobcats, but ultimately fell in three sets.

Chaz Omura played his best match of the year for the Red Hawks tallying a game-high 11 kills in 19 attacks for a .474 attack percentage. Kalagsidis recorded 24 assists for Simpson alongside six digs.

The Bobcats had two attackers with 10 kills, Kilgore and Morikawa as UC Merced only made nine attack errors the entire match.

Simpson will continue Cal Pac conference play against the University of Saint Katherine on the road.
