RIVERSIDE, Calif. - After dropping the first game of the series, 12-9, the Red Hawks took game two and three, 6-3, and 4-0, respectively.
Jarret Kirby and Colin Bovee finish the year with solid outings and wins in the final two games of the season. Kirby only allowed 3 hits in 6.1 innings pitched before turning over the game to the bullpen.
Connor Taylor, Daniel Olsen,
Zane Medeiros, and
Alfred Souza IV combined to complete the shutout for the Red Hawks. Bovee threw seven and two-thirds innings while only giving up two runs and four hits.
The Red Hawks complete the 2017 season with an 18-33 overall record, a 14 game improvement over last season. The 18 win season is the most wins in a season since 2012.
