College: Medeiros is entering his first season playing baseball for the Red Hawks. He transferred to Simpson from Feather River College prior to the 2016 season. He received all-Golden Valley academic team honors while at Feather River.

High School: Medeiros played baseball at Red Bluff High School. He also played basketball.

Personal: Zane is the son of Brian Medeiros. His hobbies include baseball.

Reason for coming to SU: “I came to Simpson to play baseball and for my education.”
