Baseball Drops Both In Doubleheader with Chico State

CHICO, Calif. - The Simpson University baseball team fell twice on the road to Chico State University, 9-0 and 4-1.

Game 1:

Greg Cadaret sent ace Cody Coggins to the mound for game 1, but Coggins struggled against a hot hitting Wildcat team as he was unable to get out of the 5th inning before relief was needed. The Red Hawks were shut down offensively by Hunter Haworth, who recorded 13 strike outs in just 6 innings of work.
