Biography

College: Lemus is entering his third season playing for the Red Hawks. He earned team Rookie of the Year honors for the 2013 season.

High School: Lemus played one year of varsity soccer at West Ranch High School and received the Defensive Player of the Year award. He played club soccer for the Santa Clarita Magic, Juventus, FC Barca, SCSC, and SCU.

Personal: James is the son of Anna Romero and Rene Lemus. His career goal is to own a long-lasting business.

Reason for coming to Simpson: “I chose Simpson, because a fellow teammate of mine on the soccer team introduced me to this school. The school is also centered around God, which is great as a Christian person like myself.”
