Hannah Womack joins the Red Hawk coaching staff in June of 2017.
She joins the Simpson staff after working as a group and personal trainer for the past several years at two gyms in the Redding area. Womack recently earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology, with an emphasis in coaching and administration from Chico State University in May of 2017. Hannah has been a camp coach at numerous basketball camps in the Redding area over the past seven years including the Todd Franklin Basketball Camp.
Womack played four years of varsity basketball at Liberty Christian High School in Redding and was the school's all-time leading scorer. She was voted 1st team All-CIF for the Northern Section her senior year and was voted All-State, Division V, as a junior and senior by Cal-Hi Sports.
She received a Division I athletic scholarship to play basketball at New Mexico State University and played there one year. Womack then transferred to Chico State University where she played for the rest of her career. She helped guide her team to a 23-6 record and went to the NCAA West Region Championship in 2012-2013. Â Hannah finished her career with over 1000 points scored, 170 3-pointers made, 12 games of 20 or more points, a career high of 27 points, and shot 83 % from the free throw line during her last three years
