ASHLAND, Ore. - Simpson's Beach Volleyball team fell twice today against Bushnell, 5-0 in both duals. 

The Beacons took the first game of the day with a clean 5-0 victory as they did not drop a set. Bushnell held the Simpson pairs in check as they allowed two sets to go beyond 18 points. 

Simpson's fourth pair, Kare Ann Oshiro and Mackenzie Tataryn, fell short against Bushnell's Sydney Myhre and Laci Jespersen, 21-11 and 21-18.

The Red Hawks returned to action against the Beacons for their second dual of the game, but fell in a similar fashion, 5-0. 

Simpson showed grit as they narrowly fell in their first, second, and third pair duals. Their first pair, Kimora McKechnie and Brooklyn Jimenez, narrowly fell 21-18 and 21-19. 

The Red Hawks' second pair, Tiara Manns and Emilly Melo, dropped a tightly played first set in their match against Bushnell's Olivia Kelzenberg and Jazmyn Wilcox, 24-22 in the first set before falling 21-10 in the second set. 

Elizabeth Heath and Brooke Sarahina narrowly fell against Bushnell's Monet Panther and Carly Hanna, 21-13 and 23-21. 

The Beacons secured the 5-0 victory as they played the minimum 10 sets in the second dual of the day. 

Simpson is back in action this Friday as they take on the College of Idaho at 2 pm.
