SEATTLE, Wash. - The Red Hawks began Conference play today in Seattle, WA, as they narrowly fell to the College of Idaho 3-2. 

The Yotes took three early wins as they won the second pairs match to begin the game, before Simpson's fourth pair, Elizabeth Heath and Sylus Moore, fell in three sets to College of Idaho's Kelsy Stranger and Kadence Jacobson.

The Red Hawks took the final two matches as Simpson's third pair of Kare Ann Oshiro and Mackenize Tataryn defeated COI's Emily Lettenmaier and Reese Hickingbottom in straight sets, 21-19 and 21-16. 

The final match of the day proved to be a thriller as Simpson's first pair, Kimora McKechnie and Brooklyn Jimenez, won a three-set thriller against COI's Greta Valaika and Faith Faucher. McKechnie and Jimenez dropped a high-scoring first set 28-26 before taking the second set 22-20 and the third set 15-12. 

The Red Hawks are back in action tomorrow as they take on Northwest at 10 am and the College of Idaho at 4 pm to conclude regular-season play.
