Bass fishing inks Mah for this upcoming Fall

Jaden Mah, nephew to BAM Super 60 Pro Ken Mah, is continuing his family's legacy on the water while pursuing higher education! Mah, a Senior at St. Mary's High School, is graduating with a 4.3 GPA. Having his sight set on Simpson University for the next four years, the University is excited to welcome Mah with open arms.

From an academic standpoint, Mah received multiple offers to continue his collegiate journey. Adding to his athleticism he participated in Lacrosse & Wrestling which highlights his ability to strive as a student-athlete!

Mah marks the seventh recruit for the Fall of 2025, and his ability to perform will be a strong addition to the team. The Simpson Bass Fishing Team currently holds 38th Place in the National ACA School of the Year Rankings, and with the wealth of talent, our Red Hawks are expected to soar next school year.

Mah, following a nursing pathway, will be attending one of the Top 20 Nursing Programs in the State and will have the ability to learn proactively in a hands-on, expert-led program! We expect Simpson to be a strong home for Mah, and Coach Bray is extremely excited to continue molding our team toward excellence on the water and in the classroom.

Thank you to St. Mary's High School for hosting the Signing Day, and to all those who have celebrated Mah's success and decision to attend Simpson University. He comes from a long line of outdoorsmen, and our program is excited to promote his growth and development during his time as a Red Hawk!
