MERCED, Calif. - The annual Cal Pac banquet held earlier tonight revealed the end of the season awards as the conference tournament begins tomorrow in Merced, CA.
Anna Marshall and
Nikki Thompson highlighted the women's side as they each earned a spot on the All-Conference First Team.
Marshall had a breakout junior campaign as she posted a team-high 298 points as she averaged 13.5 PPG.
She took home Cal Pac Offensive Player of the Week honors three times.
Thompson had another solid year as she wrapped up her final season in a Red Hawks uniform with 298 total points while averaging 14.4 PPG.
She shined defensively as well and she took home Cal Pac Defensive Player of the Week honors once.
Cerina Nguyen had a solid first year in a Red Hawks uniform as she earned a spot on the All-Conference Second Team.
Nguyen ranked fourth on the team with 237 points as she averaged 10.8 PPG while leading the team with an astounding 37 blocks.
She made her mark in the paint as she earned Cal Pac Defensive Player of the Week honors once.
Junior,
Zara Dumatol and Senior,
Tessa Kinney each earned an honorable mention nod.
Dumatol ranked first on the team with 89 assists as she averaged 7.9 PPG. Kinney who ranked third on the team with 239 points and averaged 10.9 PPG took home Cal Pac Defensive Player of the Week honors once.
Senior,
Natalie Brown earned the Cal Pac Champion of Character award for her professional display on the court.
