EAST LOS ANGELES, Calif. - The Red Hawks finished strong as they participated in the PCSC Conference Championships this past weekend.
Clòe Barthelemy set a new school record in the 50 freestyle with a 24.66 time compared to her previous record of 24.98.
Also, there were multiple new personal records by
Liam Schroeder in the 50, 100, and 200 freestyle events and personal records from
Kallai Ray in the 50 and 100 freestyle as well as 100 backstroke.
Everyone showed up ready to go and swam their best the entire season.
Coach Logan Friessen had an accomplished first year at the helm of the Simpson swim program as his swimmers broke numerous school records and participated in tough swim matches.
"I'm proud of everyone's effort despite having a small team, we were able to stick together and finish the season off strong. I look forward to bringing in more people for next year as we continue to build the swim program here at Simpson."
