ALISO, VIEJO, Calif. - The Simpson swimming squad took part in the Wyatt Balman Invitational this past weekend.
Some of the highlights include
Arie Hoogeveen who dropped 3 seconds in his 100 butterfly.
Teo Barthelemy posted a 9
th place finish in the 50 freestyle,
Liam Schroeder dropped 4 seconds in his 200 freestyle and
Cloe Barthelemy placed 4
th in the 50 freestyle with a National "B" cut time and 7
th in the 100 freestyle with another National "B" cut time.
Coach Friesen liked the performance out of his group as they all performed well.
"Overall, it was a great meet and we're looking forward to our midseason meet coming up next weekend in Tacoma, WA."
