REDDING, Calif. - The Red Hawks swept Saint Katherine's in the season series, beating them 66-54.

Simpson jumped on top of Saint Katherine early with a 13-0 run at the start of the game, holding an 11-point lead by halftime.

SU's offense has been consistently good this season with their top three shooters being Celina Tress, Livi Lindsey, and Sandra Berrocal.

On the night, Livi Lindsey led the team with 16 points shooting 6-for-12 from the field, hitting one three-pointer, and going a perfect 3-for-3 off of free throws. Lindsey also recovered five total rebounds and accounted for two steals in the game.

Sandra Berrocal shot 6-for-12 from the field and dropped two three-pointers for a total of 14 points on the night. Celina Tress scored half of her points from the free throw line and the other half from the field, totaling 12 points.

Their offense slowed down, only scoring six points in the fourth quarter, but that did not give Saint Katherine a chance to take the lead.

Women's basketball is slated to play Westcliff in their last home game this Saturday, Feb. 4, at 5:30 p.m.
