MONTEREY PARK, CA - Simpson U swimming broke several school records this past weekend at the PCSC Championships.

Cloe Barthelemy set a new school record in the 50 free at 24.98 and Irene Lopez new school record in the 100 breaststroke  1:11.77 Lopez also placed 22nd in the 400 IM.

All 5 women's relays set new school records:
200 Medley relay 1:54.77
200 free relay 1:41.40
400 medley relay 4:17.79
400 free relay 3:42.10
800 free relay 8:06.68

The Simpson women finished 13th overall scoring the most points in program history.

The men's team finished 7th overall. Colin Reeve placed 7th in the 100 breaststroke, 10th in the 200 breaststroke, and 13th in the 50 free. Pablo Ortega placed 9th in the 100 Fly and 12th place in the 200 fly.

It was another impressive performance for the Simpson swimming team and now the team will await the NAIA Nationals selections today at 2 PM.
