REDDING, Calif - Simpson wins its second straight in a 13-point victory vs. La Sierra, with a final score of 73-60.

The Red Hawks were in a tight game with La Sierra only trailing by one at halftime. The offense was able to pull away in the second half to secure the victory. They maintained a 10-plus point lead throughout the last 10 minutes of the game. 

Javonntie Jackson, Morgan Cox, and Drey Ubas each dropped double-digit points for the Red Hawks. Jackson was perfect going 7-7 from the free-throw line. 

Simpson's big offensive performance in the second half should bring momentum into the next two games to finish the home stand. The win against La Sierra makes it the Red Hawk's second game in a row where they have won by more than 10.

The Red Hawks will play Antelope Valley this Saturday at home at 7:30 pm.
