PARK, Ariz. - Simpson women's basketball remains hot winning the fifth game out of six with a 76-68 win over Park-Gilbert.
The Red Hawks finish the dreaded Arizona trio with two key wins and a firm hold of second place in the Cal Pac.
Sandra Berrocal led SU on the night with 22 points, including nine rebounds and five three-pointers.
Celina Tress continues her impressive season recording 18 points and 11 rebounds in the double-double performance.
Ariadna Rubio and
Tymiko Patterson each finished in double figures for SU combing for 23 points in the Red Hawk win.
Currently, SU sits one game behind first-place Antelope Valley but has already lost to UAV earlier in the season. The rematch is coming in a few weeks.
Before that, the Red Hawks will be at home to face Saint Katherine and Westcliff University. Both games will be at 5:30 PM as Simpson looks to keep its hot streak going with only five games left on the conference schedule.
