SU was in a tight match going into the half up 44-37. However, the offense shifted into another gear as they pulled away quickly from PUC in the second half and win by 22 points.
Kevin Robello had an electric performance, splashing threes throughout the game. Robello drained five from beyond the arc, went 6-for-15 from the field, and a perfect 2-for-2 at the free throw line. He totaled 19 points in the game.
Javonntie Jackson would lead the team with 23 points, making the majority of his points from inside the paint. Drey Ubas also did damage offensively, scoring 16 points. Ubas was 6-for-8 from the field and banged in two three-pointers.
With tonight's win, the Red Hawks find themselves at .500 again in the Cal Pac with a 6-6 conference record and eight more Cal Pac games to play.
SU will travel to Prescott, Arizona, to play Embry-Riddle and start their three-game Arizona road trip on Thursday, Jan. 26, at 7:30 pm.
