REDDING, Calif. - Simpson University women's soccer season is quickly approaching as the Red Hawks look to build off of a successful 2021 season where they finished 10-5-2.

The non-conference season commences at home against Cal Poly Humboldt (previously Humboldt State) on August 15th for a scrimmage at the Simpson Soccer Field. This match will be an early test for how SU will match up with a top NCAA DII program.

The season opener will be on the road against Bushnell University on August 19th in Eugene, Oregon before the Red Hawks face Multnomah the next day.

SU will face Oregon Tech, College of Idaho, Holy Names University, and William Jessup University all before the Cal Pac Conference schedule begins on September 9th.

The Red Hawks will open conference play at home against La Sierra and SOKA before the dreaded Arizona road trip where SU will face Embry-Riddle, Benedictine-Mesa, and Park University in a four-day window.

Simpson will mix in a few road and home games in the middle of the conference schedule matching up against Providence, Westcliff, UAV, and UC Merced.

The final three games for the Red Hawks that will be in the heat of a playoff push will be a pair of road matches against Saint Katherine and Cal Maritime before coming home for the final match of the regular season and senior day against Pacific Union College on October 30th

The Cal Pac Quarterfinals and Cal Pac Championships will take place on the two following weekends where the Red Hawks will look to advance where the program has never been, deep into the conference championships.

The past two seasons for Simpson women's soccer, the program has seen a massive turnaround going from winning three games in 2019 to 10 in 2021.

The Red Hawks training camp is already underway with their eyes set on another big season.
