REDDING, Calif. - On Wednesday, May 4th, four Simpson Baseball Players were recognized for their hard work on the field this season. 

Senior, Nathan Minami, received his fifth Cal Pac honor of his career. He has previously received Freshman of the year, two Gold Glove Awards, and an All Conference Award. This year, Minami received All Conference once again as an outfielder. He finished with a .932 fielding percentage and a batting average of .356. Minami also tied the Simpson homerun record at 10, and tied another player in the Cal Pac for homeruns hit this season. 

Keelan Yagi recieved All Defensive Team Catcher as a freshman. Yagi finished with a .982 fielding percentage, with only four errors all season. 

Junior, Eric Winchester earned All Conference Honorable Mention. Winchester finished with the most strikeouts in the Cal Pac, ending the season with 94 strikeouts in 16 games pitched and an ERA of 4.83. 

Infielder, Payton Edwards also received All Conference Honorable Mention this year in his junior season. Edwards finished with a .940 fielding percentage and a .367 batting average. 

Despite barely missing the cutoff for the Cal Pac Tournament, these four individuals put up some impressive numbers this season and represented Simpson Athletics in an oustanding manner.
