Box Score IRVINE, Calif. - Simpson men's basketball recorded its 13th win on the season last night and arguably one of the biggest of the season as they took down Westcliff, 70-66.
The Red Hawks have now won five of its last six games as the playoff push continues.
JT Branch was the dominant Red Hawk last night contributing 21 points and 10 rebounds.
Gary Mims and
Anthony Rice both finished in double figures as well for Simpson. Mims also added 12 rebounds while playing all 40 minutes.

One big key for Simpson was at the free throw line, knocking down 15-17 for the contest.
Simpson currently sits in first place in the Cal Pac North with a conference record of 8-3 and will look to continue the hot stretch into the final two games of the regular season.
SU's conference schedule ends this week playing its final home game on Wednesday against Cal Maritime and then Saturday on the road against UC Merced. The following weekend will begin the Cal Pac Championships as the Red Hawks are contending for the first conference championship in program history.
