REDDING, Calif. - The Men's Basketball Team hosted Portland Bible College, getting the dominating 94-63 win over the Wildcats.
Right from the start the Red Hawks took hold of the game, opening up with a 9-0 run.
Going into the half, SU led PBC, 52-29.
The second half was a closer game, but the Red Hawks never gave up the lead, ultimately taking the win 94-63.
Simpson's largest lead came in the second half, where they controlled the game by 34 points.
Drey Ubas led the Red Hawks in scoring with a season high 20 points.
Gary Mims had 12 points, followed by
Gabe Kerrihard with 11 and
JT Branch with 10. Kerrihard and Branch also had two steals a piece.
Simpson will begin conference play tomorrow, January 15th, hosting the University of Antelope Valley. Gametime is set for 7:30 PM.
