REDDING, Calif. - Simpson University women's soccer celebrated its seniors on Sunday afternoon before the match and then a 2-0 victory over La Sierra.

Alexis Arnold and Sandy Lule both found the net in the second half as Simpson escaped a match where La Sierra took more shots.

Nadia Jimenez was in goal for Simpson for the clean sheet and helped keep the Golden Eagles off the board.

SU remains in great shape for the playoff picture current sitting in second place in the North division two games back of UC Merced.

The Red Hawks will finish up the regular season play by facing Pacific Union on Thursday in Angwin, Calif.
