REDDING, CA - Simpson University women's volleyball was taken down by Oregon Tech in three sets, 25-10, 25-14, 25-13.

The Hustlin' Owls began the match locked in as they were led offensively by Nicole Reyers who finished with a game-high 12 kills.

For the Red Hawks, Emily Hansen continues to shine early in the season supplying 15 assists in the loss as Lily Johnson and Kendall Welpott combined for 12 kills (six each).

Simpson will be back in action next weekend when they face College of Idaho on the road for a two-day doubleheader.
