REDDING, Calif. - Simpson University softball ran into Corban's hot bats on games three and four of the four-game series.
After Simpson dominated on day one, the Warriors bounced back to even the series, 7-4, 10-7.
Mia Olvera shined in game one recording two RBIs in 1-3 performance at the plate.
Cailey Rizzardo and
Gentry Hoffman combined tallied four of the team's eight hits.
In game two, the Red Hawks chased the Warriors starting pitcher after scoring all seven runs in the first three innings. Corban rallied back to score five runs in the fourth inning to tie the game at seven. It took extra innings for Corban to record the game-four win as the Warriors scored three runs in the top of the eighth inning and shut down the Red Hawks in the bottom half.
Simpson falls to 2-4 on the season and will look to get back to .500 on Thursday when the Red Hawks take on Bushnell University.
