REDDING, CA - Simpson women's volleyball pushed OIT to its limit on Friday night as the Red Hawks were able to grab one set in the 3 sets to one loss. SU nearly stole set two as well, but the Owls dug deep and were able to prevail.

Simpson used a steady, well-balanced attack led by Kendall Welpott who finished with eight kills as Lily Johnson and Ashley Johnson each recorded seven. Setter, Emily Hansen was able to find her groove as she settled in to 21 assist performance.

The Red Hawks will be back in action on their home floor once again against Oregon Tech on Sunday, February 7th for a 3:00 PM first serve.
