Men's Volleyball Unable to Avoid Sweep with Benedictine

REDDING, Calif. - Simpson University men's volleyball was swept by BenU Mesa, but Simpson did take one set off one of the best teams in the NAIA.

The Red Hawks fought hard in every set, even taking one off the former NAIA champs in the second match.

Steven Brasher led Simpson in kills two out of the three matches and was key in keeping the Red Hawks right in each of the three matches.

SU falls to 1-3 on the season and in conference and will face UC Merced on Monday March 1st.
