REDDING, Calif. - Simpson's defense was unable to hold back Humboldt's offensive pressure, losing 5-1.
After a nail biting loss to William Jessup the Red Hawks weren't able to hop back into the win column against the Jacks. Humboldt found the back of the net twice in the first half in the 18th and 40th minutes.
Humboldt kept the pressure on, scoring twice more before the Red Hawks were able to respond.
Harry Lee scored his first goal of the season in the 88th minute off of an assist from
Alfred Kander. The Jacks would score once more before the game was finished after a foul in the box awarded Ethan Waters a penalty kick in the 89th minute.
Simpson begins conference play September 27th at 6pm as they host Embry Riddle.
