TURLOCK, Calif. - Simpson men's soccer fell on the road Saturday afternoon to Stanislaus State, 3-0.
Stan State is the first NCAA DII opponent the Red Hawks have faced in 2019 and put up a fight in the loss.Â
The Red Hawks outshot the Warriors 15-5 with four more shots on goal, but Stan State were able to capitalize in key situations which proved to be the difference maker in the match.
Simpson's non-conference schedule has proven to be a tough test and it will continue when the Red Hawks take on William Jessup on September 19th for a 3 PM kickoff in Rocklin, California.
