ATHERTON,Calif. - Simpson men's soccer fell on the road this afternoon to Menlo College, 3-0.

After winning a thriller on Saturday, the Red Hawks couldn't make it two straight wins when they faced the Oaks. Menlo scored twice in the 1st half, first in the 3rd minute and then in the 38th minute.

Coming off a win against No. 16 ranked SOU, the Oaks didn't let up in the second half. MC kept the pressure on Simpson's defense, finding the back of the net again in the 75th minute to give the Oaks a 3-0 lead heading into the final whistle.

Menlo's keeper, Andres Zimmerman recorded the clean sheet with two saves on the afternoon.

The Red Hawks will look to bounce back quickly Walla Walla University at home on Thursday, August 29th with kickoff set at 3 pm.
