REDDING, Calif. - Simpson men's basketball's  rough shooting night plays a key part in the 94-70 loss to top seeded Antelope Valley.

The Red Hawks already had the 2nd seed locked up with no possibilities of moving before the matchup with UAV. Simpson emptied its bench, getting key reps that will help gear them up for the Cal Pac Championships just over a week away.

Brandon Moss played extremely aggressive, scoring 13 points while wreaking havoc defensively as well. SU finished that night -9 on the rebounding battle allowing 15 offensive rebounds and 12 second chance points.

The Red Hawks finish conference play at 9-5, one of the best conference records in program history and now an opportunity to play for the program's first conference championship.

Simpson will immediately begin preparing for the Cal Pac Championships in Lancaster, Calif. with the first round matchup with Embry-Riddle on Sunday, February 24th at 7:30 pm.
