MERCED, Calif. - Simpson University men's basketball keeps their winning streak and conference perfection rolling with a 62-61 come from behind victory against UC Merced.

Jon Manjon, laid in a the go-ahead bucket while falling down with six seconds remaining. Merced's Ryan Haywood raced to other end, but his shot was rejected at the buzzer by

What could be Simpson's toughest test in conference play comes next Thursday, as the Red Hawks will face Antelope Valley, who sits in 2nd place in the Cal Pac standings at 4-1. SU will head to Lancaster, Calif. to take on the UAV Pioneers at 7:30 pm on January 17th.
