REDDING, Calif. - The Red Hawks fought hard Wednesday afternoon as they hosted William Jessup University out of Rocklin, looking to get back to the win column against a team that will be at the top of the table in the GSAC.

Jessup's Paul Anderson found the back of the net in the 42nd minute to put the Warriors up 1-0. The Red Hawks had multiple chances to net an equalizer as the game progressed, registering three of their four shots on goal in the second half. The Simpson attack had numerous chances, but a couple of shots that were blocked by the Jessup backline allowed the Warriors to pull off the 1-0 victory.

Men's soccer will continue their non-conference home stand on Sunday at 11 a.m. when they face the visiting Lion's of Multnomah University.
