REDDING, Calif. - Nearly midway through the season and Simpson volleyball finally got to play its first game on the home hardwood Thursday night. The Red Hawks played their mirror image of mascots in the Benedictine Redhawks, but flinched first dropping three sets consecutively.

Marianne Soria continues to soar in a great junior season recording another 23 digs bringing her season tally up to 147. Ashley Cervantes nearly pulled off a volleyball triple-double (kills, assists, digs) with six kills, 18 assists, and 10 digs.

Simpson U falls to 0-3 in conference play and will take on No. 17 team in the country, Embry-Riddle on Friday Sept. 21st at 7 pm in the Grant Center.
