REDDING, Calif. - Simpson men's soccer fell at home to Menlo College, 3-0.

The Red Hawks held off the Oaks attack for most of the contest as Menlo had 21 total shots and 11 of them on goal. Nyjel Buchanan had another great game in goal finishing with eight saves.

In the second half, Simpson looked more confident and were able to have multiple chances to score, but Menlo thwarted many Red Hawk attempts able to keep the clean sheet intact.

Simpson drops to 1-2 in its tough non-conference schedule and it continues as the Red Hawks will clash with D II opponent Stanislaus State Monday, September 3rd at 11 am on the Simpson Soccer Field.
