REDDING, Calif. - Simpson softball continued its dominance in the Cal Pac this season taking all four games from Benedictine at home.
The Red Hawks extend their winning streak to eight games and improves to 11-1 in conference play
Sydney Moorhead recorded two victories going the distance in both of her starts for twelve shutout innings against BenU and improved to 12-2 on the season. Moorhead is currently the front runner for Cal Pac pitcher of the year with an undefeated record in conference.
Offensively, Simpson did not hold back, lighting up the Redhawks for 34 runs in the four games in which only one game went the full seven innings.Â
Alexis Parras led the charge on the weekend series, receiving Cal Pac player of the week honors while tallying six hits and seven RBIs.Â
The red hot Red Hawks will face La Sierra University next weekend in Redding, Calif. as Simpson looks to lock up the Cal Pac regular season championship.
