REDDING, Calif -- The Red Hawks faced off in a double header against the visiting OIT Hustlin' Owls falling 17-4 and 12-5.

Simpson started off slow but came alive late scoring 4 in the final two innings of game 1. In game 2 the Red Hawks put together 2 solid innings scoring three in the second and two more in the seventh. While Simpson hit well they were unable to hold back the Owl offense. Andrew Shaw led the Red Hawk offense hitting 4-9 on the day with 2 RBIs. Zachary Morgan threw four innings of solid relief in the second game allowing 2 earned runs on 5 hits and striking out 4.
